Your going to need... as far as parts:

Case

Power Supply

Mother Board (that matches your case)

Processor (that matches your Mother Board)

Processor Fan (That matches your processor)

Ram/System Memory (That matches your Processor & Motherboard)

Thats enough to get it to Boot

But to get a normal computer you'll still need:

Hard Drive (that matches your mother board [ some are SATA or IDE])

CD-ROM or DVD Drive

(Optional) FLoopy Drive

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the mother board you chose doesn't have this Get the cards:
Sound Card
Video Card
USB/Firewire Card
Then your going to need an OS like Windows Or Linux
Then a Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers
Then your Done...
Now lets get Serious....
When you buy a processor keep in mind the Mhz and the FSB
the mhz is its speed and FSB is the speed that it will allow the components to speak to each other.
When you buy your Mother board MAKE SURE IT MATCHES YOUR PROCESSOR. it will say Socket XXX make sure your porcessor and mother board use the same socket and that the FSB match or is with in Range
When you buy your RAM or System Memory make sure that the FSB or the FMB matchs with the Processor and Mother Board... that is also know as PCXXXX like PC2700 or whatever. The higher it is the faster it is.
When you buy your case make sure it will fit your Mother Board. so.. it should say ATX or Mini ATX or something. Make sure they match up.
When you Buy your Power supply make SURE THAT it Matches the Case and the Mother Board and that your using enough power or Watts. To be safe just get a 450~600 watt Processor... here is a situation that could happen... you have lots of component and your PC wont start because the actual Boot process Requires EVERYTHING TO START AT ONCE... 2 hard drives a good Video Card a couple of fans and your DVD drive will Eat everything UP... happened to me with a 400 WATT Power supply.
NOW For you!... I would like it if you'd take what your doing seriously and get a PC Tech Tool kit:
Grounding Strap
Screw Drivers (Non magnetic)
A Grounding Mat (Or you can do yoru stuff on the floor where there is no carpet)
Extra PC Screws
Manuals for your ****.
Generally a case, motherboard, video board, disk drive, and optional boards for peripherals not included in the motherboard (disk controller, network, USB, etc). Monitor, keybpard, mouse of course.
Check a web site to give guidance. Lots of things to consider.
With all due respect, if you don't know what components you need, you probably ought not to attempt that sort of job until you get more experience.
PCI convey wifi playing cards are the recent accepted. only be constructive you do not get an inexpensive one, and remember, the better UP the antennas are, the better the signal they receives! 3 antennas is incomprehensible in case you set the pc on the floor...except you've an exterior antenna set with wires ensuing in them.
