i was just wondering if there is anyone out there who bought tickets to see gnr, and axl rose didnt show up? there has been alot of talk about how he doesnt show up for half of his shows. my husband has tickets to go see them in 3 weeks. and also are the concerts good and how long aprox. did it last.

He is a bit famous for this, unfortunately. Four years ago Guns 'n' Roses had a show at GM Place in Vancouver and, when he didn't show up, the crowd rioted. As I recall, his PR firm blamed it on bad weather flying up from Los Angeles. But this wasn't the first example of his tantruming out of a show.
They're playing a show here in Edmonton at the beginning of December, and I'm quite glad that I won't be right next door this time, just in case.

I recently went to a music festival where GNR were the last band of the night. They were 2 hours late, so by 11pm when they still hadn't gone on, my friend and I, exhausted and a little bit scared by the growing anger of the fans, left.
I heard later very mixed reviews. The die-hards ofcourse, loved the show. But other folks said it's not the same without the rest of the band. So there you go.

I went to one of their concerts once and we had to wait forever for him to finally decide he was going to preform. Everyone thought that he wasn't going to show.
