should be fine the 350 is purely a mechanical tranny uses vaccume and throttle position to shift.the ***** will be your spedomiter 350 uses a gear 700 uses a sending unit

i think you might need a socket or two too , some people ! , you will be better off to have a 4x4 parts truck with the correct tranny / cross member and transfer case , there will be so many little parts and pieces to make it all work a doner vehicle will save you time / money and frustration, i dont know what the computer will do without the torque converter lockup confirmation signal but i doubt as it would be anything too serious, good luck, let us know how it turns out.
