my little brother waches it all the time and i was just wondering why every body hated him in one episode... cuz i walked in on the part that every one hated him.and he was really upset a almost started crying...

there are several episodes in Sponge Bob where everybody hates him. Was it the time he sold tainted crabby patties, was it the time he pulled rues to sell candy bars, was it the time he ruined christmas, was it the time he destroyed the town learning to drive and Mrs Puff went to jail? I could keep going.

There have been several "we hate Spongebob" episodes, but the one I remember best is when he eats an onion sandwich & his breath scares everyone away.
Then the one where he destroys Bikini Bottom whilst learing to drive.
He sells tainted Krabby Patties.
Etc.

He was never hated. Everyone was tired of him "ripping his pants" for attention. That is all.

it's because he got annoying when he kept ripping his pants...i think i shut it off after the band part..that just topped it all off...
