Okay - I'm kind of freaked out and this is a legit question...
I'm on my period, it's been brownish for about 2 days and today it finally turned to red (normally takes a few days) and I clot occasionally (normal too) but in one clot today, just minutes ago, I noticed a clear bubble inside the blood. I've never seen anything inside a clot before. It was very tiny and clear, fluresant (sp?), and it didnit pop when I moved toliet paper around it. I know its sick (I didn't touch) but I watched it for a few minutes and when the blood finally sank, the bubble stayed near the surface. What's this bubble - a miscarriage?

I doubt it. I had a miscarriage before, but I was further along..10 weeks pregnant and I knew I was pregnant and I had more than just a bubble.

The uterus sheds it's lining so it's normal to find small clots on the pad or tampon.

I can't answer that question and nobody else on this site can either you would have to get examined by a doctor to really determine if you miscarried or not and you know if you had unprotected sex and if you were in any type of situation that could of lead to a pregnancy. My advise make an appointment to see your doctor.

Maybe it was just an egg that you passed as part of your normal period. If it never implanted, I doubt anyone would consider it a miscarriage. If you are worried, you could call your dr, but I'm sure you're fine.

I miscarried at 9 weeks and that's a lot like what I saw. I knew that I miscarried because I'd been to the dr. for a sonogram and they told me it wasn't viable and I'd lose it in a day or two. They gave me the option of having a D&C or losing it on my own. So I was paying attention to what I was bleeding and what you described sounded a lot like what I experienced.

Honestly, you've probably just never noticed something like that before... sounds kinda normal to me... I really doubt it was a miscarriage. Miscarriage is more like gushing or heavy flowing blood (heavy, like a slow pour) and it's often accompanied by back pain and really heavy cramps. You're fine.
