Yes. I feel that innocence and virginity are sacred things. One can dance around its edges mentally and physically, but it is oh so easy to cross that line.

Yes - as long as the physical aspect is consistent.
Many women talk about second virginities - those states are both mental and physical because women regret losing their virginity at the "wrong" time. To atone for this loss, many of them resolve to never engage in sexual activity; hence, they regain that emotional aspect of virginity.

it depends on the person from a religous stand point you can be a born again virgin but from a medical stand point once it gone its gone but yeah i guess it can be a state of mind

I like to think so.
Before my husband, ... it was different. I hadn't had sex before but i had done certain things. And when i met my husband, it was spectacular because it felt like we were both experiencing everything for the first time.
