What is the causes and effects of low voter turnout in the US.

May be they lost the faith in the system,and staying home make the things more complicated.If the politicians Knew that 100% of voters are going to vote they will surely behave in another way and will not take any thing for granted.

Well people dont get their voice heard as much and the peoples issues that they want represented might not get represented if they dont go out and vote.
