October 8th should be the day of your conception. You are 7 weeks along and you have 33 weeks to go until the big day!
By the end of the first month after conception, a simple functioning circulatory system has developed in the embryo. The spinal cord is closed and the embryo is 1/6 inch long (4mm). At the end of the second month the cardiac valves and four chambers of the heart are established and functioning. Nervous system development has begun, and so has motor activity. In month three, the fetus jerks its body and flexes its tiny legs and arms. Weight is 3/4 ounce (21 grams), about the same as a letter. Congrads. And good luck! Assuming your period is typically 28 days in length, which is average, then your last menstrual period started on Sun. Sep. 24,
you conceived on Sun. Oct. 8, and you are just over 7 weeks today.
but keep in mind these are not exact, but are general estimates. can be a day or two or three off. also, the answers would be slightly different if your periods tend to be shorter or longer.

There is no sure way to tell. Due dates are just guesses. Sometime about two weeks after your missed period is a good guess, unless you know your ovulation cycles. They also go off baby size, so dates could be wrong. If paternity is an issue, DNA test after the birth.
