I think its a toss up between Palenque and Chichen Itza, both of which are very beautiful cities.

Chichen Itza probably shades it becuase of size and variety.

Tulum, on the coast of Quintana Roo state in Mexico has them all beat! It is the only Mayan city on a beach that still stands. It's just a short bus ride from Playa del Carmen, and the site is breathtaking!
