What is a Hacker?

A hacker is someone who delves deeply into a subject until they know more ways in how something works than the original creator.

A hacker will learn all there is to know about Windows so they'll know how software interacts on the system, how the kernel works, how the kernel talks to the hardware layer and even how the hardware works.

A cracker is someone who learns about vulnerabilities with the intention of breaking into a system or cracking the system open. They want to destroy or vandalize a system for no purpose.

A script kiddie is someone who doesn't know anything about how to crack into systems so they get a script (which can be a program or a list of instructions) and use it to crack into a system.

So a hacker could be a surgeon who works on hearts. A cracker could be a torturer who hurts people. They both have to know how a human works in order to do what they want but one is constructive and the other is destructive.

Any person, whether you call them a Hacker or Cracker, is the worst kind of scumbag on the Earth. Any person getting into your computer without your permission is a Criminal.

Do not believe the crap that a "Hacker" is good because he gets into your computer and doesn't do damage, and that a "Cracker" is the bad version of a "Hacker". This is a bunch of, well, you know what it is.

A Hacker is someone who knows seven or eight computer languages and knows how to program exceptionally well he/she is your jack of all trades to become one you have to really earn the respect of the community for being a model citizen online and being a positive contributor help with mailng lists, kernel work etc.

It's simply illegal , but usually Hackers don't try to destroy something , but there is a type of Hackers called Nocker , this one just want to destroy everything possible ...
