correct, you cannot adjust your playoff setting after the league has drafted.
but Yahoo! can.
these are your avail options:
Week 15 and 16 4 teams
Week 16 and 17 4 teams
Week 14, 15 and 16 6 teams
Week 15, 16 and 17 6 teams
Week 14, 15 and 16 8 teams
Week 15, 16 and 17 8 teams
email Yahoo! which one you want for your league and if you are the league commish then they will make the adjustment...

You have to set up your playoff schedule before the league draft. It isn't an option you can chance, once the season starts.

I think that has to be configured before the draft/beginning of the season. Maybe you can't change the format once the season starts?
