Hi,
I tried it once when I was a kid and It spelled out some answers but we didn't try to summon any spirits.

Fact about the Quija Board
HOW THE BOARD WORKS

There are two major theories. The spiritualist theory holds that the messages comes from without; the automatistic(or "scientific") theory holds that the messages from within. Arguments can be made for both theorys.

Some users believe that paranormal or supernatural forces are at work in spelling out Ouija board answers. Skeptics believe that those using the board either consciously or unconsciously select what is read. To prove this, simply try it blindfolded for some time, having an innocent bystander take notes on what letters are selected. Usually, the result will be unintelligible non-sense.

I personally think they work

Ouija Boards do work, yes. The problem is that there are a lot of people who try to spook others, and there are a lot of inexperienced users who don't know how to "shut the door" afterward, shall we say.

I've been using mine for 15 years now, and I had a great teacher. I'm now working with my kids on it, and that will make all the difference for their experience with it. You need to make sure that someone actually knows what they're doing before attempting to use it.

They do not work. People claiming they work WANT TO BELIEVE it is working. Simple test... blindfold the users and have them use the board... turned 180 degrees. You stand by as the observer and see how well it works. I bet that any "spirits" they contact won't realize the board is really turned and won't get a single thing correct.

It depends on what your definition of "works" is. I think subconciously you're moving the piece. It's your brain's energy moving that little magnifying piece around. I don't think it's a spirit or anything but who knows. I've done it before and have had it "work" but was it a real spirit/ghost, I can't be sure.

It's a freakin game. It's made by Milton Bradley for crying out loud.Anyone who tells you they work is probably going to retire on their Monopoly money.
It's the power of suggestion. That's all.How can a mass produced game help you contact the dead?It can't.If there were anything at all to this it has nothing to do with a silly board game.

nope, becuase they only work in groups, you can never get the board piece to move when you are alone. That is because it takes only one person who is weaked minded enought to make the piece move under their own force, not the force of a spirit.

True story... back when I was a boy living in London two boys of about 13 who lived about a mile from me were found dead inside a locked room. They were slumped over a ouija board and both had looks of total horror on their faces and had died of heart attacks.

I think it's a bunch of crap, people who you are using one with probably know you , so they can guide the pointer to answer one of your questions in your favor. I believe in a lot of spiritual stuff, but not this one.
