There are many Jewish communities that are still not accounted for throughout the diaspora. The number is over 13 million, approaching 14 million. It's hard to determine who is actually a Jew as the rate of intermarriage and assimilation is constantly rising. There are many whom are Jewish by birth but never realize it.
