i have recently re booted my system and i cant get my sound to work.....i have tried to install drivers and no luck... i cant find anywhere i can download the sound card SIS 963(well i think thats it) i have downloaded many drivers and there is still a yellow mark beside my multimedia control device.......Plz help its driving me mad!!!!!!

first thing mate you need to do is confirm the name of your sound card and by the sounds of it ,its a intergrated chipset audio set up,so go to the sis website(http://www.sis.com/download/agreement.php?url=/download/)and download the latest chipset drivers that will contain your audio drivers (and also your graphic,ide,and network drivers)
once downloaded and installed go to control panel and check in the sounds options and then look under the playback option,if the name of your sound(audio) device isnt there ,then click the drop down box and it should be there then,click on it and once its in the playback box,apply it
now go to volume and click the slider control for volume ,you now should her the bell sound confirming your sound is enabled
certain devices such as v.o.i.p internet phones,and some games can temporarily disable audio so always check the sound options in control panel before updating drivers ect

The driver you have is still not installed or you have the wrong driver.

Do you have the documents for you computer motherboard

uninstall the device then reboot, windows should install it with the right drivers
