Possibly the one created by Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. This is such a huge waterfall that the perpetual mist supports a miniature rainforest on both sides of the canyon downstream, but only for a half mile or so and not very far from the river banks.
But it's spectacular! I was there in 1990 (before President Mugabe began his destructive rampage on this beautiful country) and it's one of the places everyone should see if they can. Its name in the local language means "the smoke that thunders", a perfect description since you can hear it before you see it, and we weren't even there during the rainy season.
Of course there are all kinds of legends and myths surrounding this magnificent work of natural art, plus during a full moon the mist creates "lunar rainbows" for a really mystical experience. Daytime rainbows are there all the time, naturally.

I would imagine that the smallest is here in the state of Washington, on the Olympic peninsula, between Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean. It is a temperate rain forest, rather than the tropical variety, and is the only temperate rain forest in the United States.

the smallest is the Atlantic Rainforest in Brazil which is situated on the Atlantic coast.
Only 4% of the original forest is left due to rampant deforestation and conservationists are desperate to save what is left.

Reduce everything you consume. Paper is a big one, and turn off the lights...etc. Reduce reuse and recycle. Its been said thousands of times everywhere for a reason. And im glad some one else just joined in!
