About two years ago my boyfriend had an altercation with one of my neighbors, who has some issues resulting from drug use. The man is kind of off to say the least. Since their altercation, the neighbor has picked my boyfriend up, and had positive conversation with him. This past week, I was awakened by my boyfriend standing outside in front of this neighbors house around 2am screaming obsceneties and such. This occurred on Wed. and Friday. When he finally came into the house, I asked him what was going on, and if the man had done something to him recently. He said no. He explained that he wanted to make it overstood that he wasn't the one to run up on. I told him that what he did was lame, and a disrespect to my neighborhood, and my home. I told him that what he does reflects on me, and it doesn't look good. He said that since it was him doing the yelling, and not me that it shouldn't matter. He said that what i was saying was bull****. Do you think I'm wrong??

When I say overstood, I'm just using my boyfriends words...and it means understood to the millionth degree...and when i say pick him up...i mean that he would see him walking somewhere and give him a ride.

I was in the same situation. My ex was very immature like that. He would drive way to fast through my neighborhood, yell at me from outside the house, play music really loud in his car in my yard, throw a temper tantrum and go knock over garbage cans, and even though i didnt do any of that stuff. It was MY house in MY neighborhood, and I had to live there after he was kicked to the curb, and it made ME look like an *** for having someone like that around. So in conclusion, your in the right. Tell him to respect your home or get out.

Two questions:

What do you mean that your neighbor has 'picked your boyfriend up'?

Also, what did you mean that your boyfriend 'wanted to make it overstood'? Did you mean 'understood' as in 'understanding'?

The main problem here is that he doesn't seem to want to tell you why he was out there screaming at your neighbor. Something is going on, and he won't tell you what it is. I would think it's important to find out before I made a judgement.

Something is definitely going on and the excuse he gave you for yelling at him is weak....it just doesn't make sense. He needs to listen to you and respect your neighborhood as you are the one who has to show your face around there. Personally, it sounds like he's getting drugs or something from the neighbor for him to get that angry.

I do think it reflects badly on you but I ddon't have any answers for you. You just have to decide whether you want to have your boyfriend around if he is behaving t5his way.

No you are not wrong, he needs to grow up and act like a man with sense. I hope it gets better for you, he needs to grow up and let it go. Good luck and God bless*
