"how clean is your house"? surely people cant live in the state some of those places are like

I don't know how the people on that show dare show their faces. How minging are they? I watch every episode just because it makes me feel like a cleaning queen, when actually my house is just normal, sometimes messy, sometimes tidy. God bless Kim and Aggie. Can you imagine living with them tho?

My mother is a pac rat and yes you can live in that kind of enviroment however state officials can call it a fire hazard if clutter is to much plus i like watching the show because some of the explanations are really good. like shaving cream on a mirror will get rid of germs better than claning with just a towel.

most of us would have lived in a similar state years ago it's only our modern clean living everything must be bleached society that finds it so disgusting....it's not that long ago that working class familys would have all bunked up together mum dad gran grandad grown up kids and husbands and wives and their kids all in small homes ... but yes how can some people still live with all that mess

I watch it ... I really like it.
There's bound to be people living like that, there's people at all ranges of the scale, from complete neat freaks to what you see on TV.
I shared a house with a few guys for a couple f years, and one of them was disgusting, he would leave food in what he had eaten half of it in, and in saucepans. I used to clean up for him until I got fed up of cleaning his mess (because I got no thanks, and I got nothing for it ... I'm not his maid) I just set it aside. At one point he left something sitting for 4 months so I put them in his room, he was raging because it made his room stink!!! He then left the pans back in the kitchen, and didn't wash them for ages ... I kept my kitchen stuff separate after that!!!

I watch it regularly - it makes me feel a lot happier about the few things that our out of place here. And I tidy up then because I never ever want to end up in that kind of a mess.

that programme amazes me..when i see the state of some peoples houses..they are disgusting..i bet its real though.

its so disgusting! how can you let things get that bad? we can all be a little untidy but that is just totally lazy and very unhealthy to live that way. i'd hate to have neighbours like that.

true. I guess they wld have been asked to put out all their things from the closets, cupboards etc. before they start the show.
