B.) Worship of the Greek gods largely died out before the empire fell, and Germanic tribes either became Christians, or kept their old religions. Also, most of Europe lost the knowledge necessary for building roads, bridges, and aqueducts in the Roman style.
C.) Circuses largely died out with the Roman Empire, partially because urban populations fell drastically as more people moved to the countryside.
D.) Rome wasn't used as anyone's capital for any meaningful period of time until Italy unified - except the Pope's capital. Also, legislatures ceased to be used for hundreds of years.

That leaves A. Roman laws, the church, and Latin remained in use for centuries - in fact, parts of Spain and Southern France remained highly Romanized into the 7th and 8th century.
