I'm sorry, but I think Charlton are going to The Championship. They just don't look that good and I don't think that anything they do is going to get them out of the bottom three. I'm pretty sure that Newcastle will find their form eventually and get up to mid-table. West Ham and Blackburn are looking bad but they should be able to pull it out without worrying about relegation. To me that leaves Charlton, Sheffield and Watford.

Its not looking good and it maybe shows the value of Curbishley to the Club. They have to start winning home games or at least not losing and this year has to be a backs to the wall approach. If they have the money a couple of good defenders in the transfer window may be the solution. Or how about this - Tevez and Mascherano on loan from West Ham? They are not getting a place in the team.

howdy, you're giving up so straight away? They nonetheless have a large probability, they are recuperating! I nonetheless can't have self assurance that they gained West Ham through 4-0. they are going to develop, yet SLOWLY. i imagine that Charlton will bypass as a lot as bottom 5 even as THE SEASON is going to end.

I think they will.
In Darren Bent they have a striker who scores goals, and a club's survival always hinges on the ability to score. If they can shore up in defence they have enough quality to climb out of the religation zone.

One theory is that the phrase is simply a corrupted form of 'Athletic', but the majority of Charlton historians agree the most likely explanation dates back to a fish and chip shop in 1908 and that 'Addicks' derived from 'haddock'.
At that time, Arthur Bryan was a local fishmonger who helped underwrite the cost of establishing Charlton at The Valley, and the club and its opposition used to dine on fish suppers following matches. The story goes that if the team lost they would dine on the less popular cod but a victory would secure a haddock supper.
