I am a Pre-Op, somewhat genderqueer Female-to-Male Transsexual. I live as male, but in a camp and feminine manner, and because of that no-one takes me seriously.

Why is life so difficult without a penis!?

Do you miss your penis?

Ah, the penis. How such a little thing can cause so much calamity in the world is amazing, isn't it? Despite popular belief, it is the penis and not money that is the root of all evil, including evil about and around money. Pursuit of the penis, the penis' pursuit of vaginas, the penis' pursuit of other penises makes this little fellow quit a sh|t disturber (pun intended).

All through history stories of romance, always involving a penis, figured prominently. Anthony and Cleopatra, Napoleon and Josephine, Al Capone and...and...his syphilis.

Unfortunately, I don't think man (and woman) will break free of this trouble maker anytime soon. We are, after all, animals and the urge to be involved with a penis goes very deep within (some of) (pun intended) us.

Good luck with your operation and may the Penis Almighty be good to you.

That's because you're actually paying attention to what others think. I'm in about that same boat. I'm pre-op MtF and dress really sporty, tomboy lesbian. I've given up on the idea of "passing" or finding a date. I just do and act as I want. I ignore what others think, and in the end I have a decent time most of the time. And trust me, life isn't always rainbows and sunshine with a penis...

Because the ones with the penis' (born with them) are to often arseholes with to much power.

One question you could ask yourself is: why must you fit exactly with pre-ascribed gender roles after all? you had one set of ruled foced on you, why force another lot on yourself?

I understand that there is a strong pressure to 'pass' as your true gender, and people will judge you accordingly, and endlessly, but in the end this is about your gender identity, which (ideally) you should be free to express as works best for you?

What is wrong with a 'camp and feminine' FTM person? Challenge those gender rules!!

thats because in our narrow minded society today you have to be a certain way and that sucks. im a lesbian and get fed up of hearing people say what made you turn that way. you dont turn anyway its your genetic makeup that makes you who you are. just be happy and if people cant accept you then consider who you socialise with x

Just be who you are. That's all any of us can do, and still hope to be happy.

My last bf was FtM.

I wish you well.
