I highly recommended that you get it on the release date otherwise you will have no wait for the next shipment in may 2007. That when their planning on deciding if the PS3 grapichs are worth the $600 price tag.

if you dont have one preordered i say it will be at least late janurary or early february before you'll be able to find one. they are gonna sell and sell quick. just like the xbox 360 did.....unless you want to buy one for triple the cash on ebay.
