Especially if you are traveling with them!
I went to Vegas with...unfortunately...a VERY stingy friend. I told her she needed to bring a certain amount of money for all the travel/etc... expenses but I guess she didn't want to spend any of the amount I told her about BUT she still went anyways! So when we got there...she wouldn't want to buy tickets for museums, shows and left me to go in alone AFTER she told me "She changed her mind and will wait for me outside." I got so mad!!!! So I told her, "Why don't you go back to the hotel..." So for three days in a row...I basically couldn't eat anything around her cause I guess she thought the buffet was too expensive compared to a $5-6 dish in Chinatown in San Francisco. I didn't want to be the one to keep asking everyday, "Do you want to eat something first?" That will make me look like all I care about is food which I am not. But you still got to eat! I'm not anorexic or whatever you want to call it! What should I do?

I usually say just what I mean!! If you didn't want to spend the money why did you agree to come with me? --- On a trip like that don't let someone else dictate your planned vacation, you warned her and told her what you had in mind. Was she waiting to see if you would be so nice as to pay for most everything?? I make good enough money that I can do a few things I want, but I don't get the ones who make 100,000 or more a year and act like its going to kill them to spend even the bare minium for something. Vactions are for eating and eating well!!! When you get home you can go back to the bologna sandwichs. I would proably get so irritated that I would tell her to quit being a cheap ***!!! and never offer to go on a trip like that again.

How close of a friend are you guys? I'm not a rich guy but I usually pay for the meals of my less fortunate friends. They'll eventually return the favor one way or another. If she doesn't want to pay for tickets for any the events, there are lots of FREE activities in Vegas.
Lastly, make sure next time you go out with someone that shares the same interests and willing to spend money.

I agree with the first poster....Don't go on vacation with her anymore. You told her what to expect when you requested for her to bring the certain amount of money. I don't understand people like that; If you don't want to spend money, don't go anywhere. Although maybe she has less money than she would like people to think she has, and has to keep up the charade by taking vacations that she cannot afford.

Now he can't never keep a girlfriend because he takes them out to McDonald's on their first date. He is not poor! Yes, an airline PILOT....
with lots of money...
