i have a dell inspiron laptop.
my lil sister took off several keys and the little plastic things that go under them from the keyboard and lost them
can i purchase the individual keys or do i have to purchase a whole new keyboard?

I would just get a new keyboard...it's very easy to install yourself too. If it is still under warranty, you can get one from Dell for free.

Yes, Dell has the directions for removing your keyboard and has the replacement parts.

P.S. putting those keys back on even if you have all the parts is a real bear

Bummer!
I don't know the answer, but I can guess by the way that the world seems to work (ie badly) that you would have to buy a whole new keyboard,
On second thoughts, the world sux, you will probably have to buy a whole new laptop!
