OK i dont have personal experiance i am currently married right now but my parents suffered a baaad divorce so from a childs point of view if you have any kids by her, please take responisbility in that area send her money for the kids and send her money for her needs also {incase shes the one that has the kids} Dont let the kids know why you seperated or anything just tell them that mommy and daddy needed some time apart cause your children will carry the affect the greatest. If you dont have any kids just remember you said it was a seperation it dont sound like a divorce she is your wife and i know you still love her.......love just dont go away over night ........so try and help her out with whatever she needs!~!~! if you two have decided to date other people go on different dates or whatever but always let her know that you will still be there for her if she needs anything, from my point of view if my husband was to seperate from me i would still want his help and still want his caring affectionate love {not sex} but i would want to know that he will always be there for me. But if she dont want that than also respect her on that area and just let her know you will be there for her when she needs you and actually mean that dont just say it. I hope everything works out for you two.

It depends on what you want to do with your marriage. If you want to work it out, take this time for yourself and do alot of soul searching and find out what it is you really want. When I went through it 4 years ago, I made the decision not to date because I thought it would just complicate things further so you might want to think about that too. If you want to stay together, you need to think back when you first got together and remind yourself why you wanted her in the first place. What was it that made her so special? Have you considered counseling for the two of you or even just yourself? If you don't think it can be worked out, then look into a dissilusion instead of a divorce. It's not nasty, everybody agrees on everything, and it only takes a few weeks. That's the route I went. Whatever you do, don't rush into anything. Take your time and do alot of thinking. This is your life we're talking about. You need to do what makes you happy. Good luck!

everything you want to do.

actually it depends. is this separation for good? or just a trial run? if it's for good, then by all means, have a good time. or stay at home and cry in your pajamas.

Well I guess depending on who brought on the seperation. If you did then you probably don't have feelings for her and move on with your life. In my opinion seperation only leads to one thing and that's divorce. If she brought on the sepreation I guess same rule applies.

starting a new life - learning to live without her - evolving as a man - learning from the mistakes that destroyed your marriage.
