Sounds normal to me as long as she wakes up soon.

Sounds normal to me. Our baby is now about 5 months old, but he took 2 and 3 hour naps during the day when he was only 7 weeks old. My advice to you would be . . . go take a nap and catch up on some sleep while she is sleeping.

7 week old babies sleep on average 14 to 18 hours per day. Enjoy the quiet! 7 week old babies should be eating 2-4 ounces 8-12 times per day, have 6-8 wet diapers and a bm at least once per day expecially of breast feeding. If your child sleeps past 4 hours, gently wake her and feed her sleepy head, if she falls asleep during feedings loosen her clothing, caress her head, tickle her feet (gently) or sit her up and burp to awaken her. Best of luck and sleep!

I would expect her to wake to feed sometime soon. If she is breastfed and doesn't wake by the time 3 hours has passed, I'd consider waking her. It is OK for her to have one longer (around 4-5 hours) stretch of sleep per day at this age.

That's fine. Most newborn babies sleep for 2-3 hours at a time before waking up for another feed.

if she is a breastfed baby she needs to be fed every 2-3 hrs. Formula babies can go a bit longer - about 4 hrs. between feedings. A great resource is What to Expect the first year.

its perfectly ok. Your baby will let you know when she is hungry. usually if they are sleeping its because they need to. My baby is going through a particularly sleepy fase now too. Sleeping WAY more then usual. I think hers is just a growth spurt though. Your baby will let you know when shes hungry. I asked a question on here thismorning about my baby sleeping way too much, and ya know what as soon as i got done posting it, she woke up. Funny thing how babies work. I think your baby is fine as long as when she wakes up she wants to eat.
