I don't mean to be ugly but some guys do say that as a way to soothe the wound. You need to go out and have fun with your friends and enjoy life because more than likely you are too young to be that serious about a guy anyway and if it's meant to be then when he grows up a little it will come around again. But for now time waits for noone so enjoy your life while your still young and have the energy to do so. Have Fun!

Well it sounds to me that somebody has commitment issues. Also he has been influenced by a whole bunch of other people. Honey i would say that you need to keep going. I think eventually if he truley loves you he will break through the influences and the comment issues and come back. But you need to be strong and move on for now. Sounds like you are still young, there is time and plenty of guys who think you are worth it.

First of all, SLOW DOWN!!!!
You were only with this guy for 2 months. I'm sure you care about him, but to be talking about marriage is CRAZY!!
I have a 17 year old son. If he was in a relationship and they began talking like that, I wouldn't want him to stay with her. That would be sending me red flags all over the place.
Move on with your life, and slow down living it! You have your whole life to worry about marriage and a family.

Move on. Three reasons. 1. This could be an excuse and he wants to break up; or; 2. He is telling the truth and is so spineless that he would listen to what friends tell him to do in his relationship. 3. You live with your parents and they will make life miserable if you continue to see him.

Your 'other friend' is right. Guys just say that to make the break up easier.
Don't misunderstand his partisipation in your "future plans" conversation as his approval of the idea. At your age, guys don't make plans like that after 2 months. He got spooked.
I would say it's time to move on...Find a guy that is more compatible with you and can keep up with what you want.

If you had sex then he got what he wanted and is now chasing his next conquest.
Move on with your life and don't get so involved or serious with anyone since you are obviously a minor. Enjoy your teenage years, adult responsibilities will be thrust on you all to soon.

Your friend is 100% right on. Guys in general are chicken. They can't just tell you they don't want to see you anymore. You're not sleeping with him, are you? Because if you are, that's why he's telling you what you want to hear.
