Craigs list is mostly hook ups, but I suppose if you made your posting clear what you wanted it would do.
Gaydar.co.uk is somewhat free, you get limited number of views/messages per day, but otherwise free (large usa membership)
maybe Gay City USA might work it says its free, but i haven't used it (i gots a bf), wouldn't hurt to check it out

It's straight, bi, gay, lesbian, and polyamory friendly.
The personality tests are a lot of fun too.
It's got really nice matching and search software. Better than a few paid sites I've seen.
