...... ..have a serious knock on effect. The reason i ask is that i don't go football anymore, don't use public transport, don't buy Mcdonalds, don't go to coffee houses. Half the things that are advertised, like cars, are wasting my time. If people don't use a lot of things that are too expensive what happens next?

If everybody stopped using them because of the price then everything would come down in price.
But that would also mean wages getting less, so it would have a serious knock on effect.

On a large scale you could check out history look at the 80's price's may have gone up but so has what we earn it would cause a resession.
