Coconut cream pie because it reminds me of somewhere exotic....But if I could be any pie in the world, I want to be the "PIE" from the movie American Pie!!

APRICOT! Is there any better filling for a pie? Luscious, ripe, golden apricots are so delicious - my favourite fruit. Apricots take me back to my childhood. We had a huge apricot tree in our backyard and as kids we spent all year climbing and sitting in it. In Spring we'd sit in the branches and pick blossoms to put in our hair. When the fruit first appeared - mean little green balls - we'd pick them to throw at the kids who lived next door - (they had a plum tree and the unripe plums were like stones!!!!!!) In Summer, after the fruit for jam and bottling had been picked - we'd shelter in the shade and gorge ourselves on the leftovers. We'd use them as ammo if the kids next door started throwing their plums. The ripe plums were wet and sticky - but the apricots would splatter all over anything they hit. We had great battles - all in good fun of course. In Autumn we'd play with the leaves - threading them onto string for necklaces and throwing them at each other. In Winter - we'd sit in the branches and read. The apricot in my backyard is a mere baby compared to the one we had when I was growing up. To this day - I love apricots. Not just because they taste good - but because they bring back lots of good memories for me.
Yep - I'd be an apricot pie - with lashings of cream! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Pumpkin pie - cause the only time I see it out these days is on thanks giving and sometimes on christmas, its so sweet and tastie either alone, or with whip cream and even with ice cream.
