MP3 is a file format dude.
And iPod is a MP3 playing device.

you can get an MP3 player from £20 from tesco, for a fairly good MB of memory, or an iPod for around £300. iPod is crap. u have 2 use iTunes.
on an MP3 player just go to limewire and get all ur tunes free and illegal!
i have been doing it for 2 - 3 years now and would never get rid of my MPMAN mp3 player (which i never use now i have got a samsung d500 lol)

i know wut u mean, u mean ipod or a normal flash memory mp4 player, rite? first of all , i want to say, mp4......zune, people. stop! ipod's a good music player, but costs a lot money. u can get a archos 40 gb mp4 player for about 300 USD. it's really really good price. ipod? not so much. i like the new ipod, but i'm not gonna use it, i'm planning to buy one for a friends b-day. i'm using the sony mylo. which can play video, music and has wi-fi. true wi-fi. yahoo msg, and skype. which is only 350 on sonystyle.com
a flash player's also good, u don't have to wry wut if u dropped or stuff, the device won't break like ipod does. but u got limited storage. the price's generally low. it depends on you. if u just want to listen to music, i say u get a flash mp3. if u want to use as a hard drive, go for the ipod. videos, maybe choose a mp4 player. if u r a high school or college kid want to blow up some money like me, go for the mylo.

i got an MP4 player - omg it is sooooo cool - te reason i prefer it to my old MP3 is the video player in it - have never owned an iPOD but the MP4 was a pressie so i didn't have to pay for it - another reason i love it LOL

certainly MP3. I even have the Samsung YK5... so does my husband and we merely offered it for our 10 365 days. previous niece for Christmas. that's narrow, somewhat undemanding to apply, extreme high quality looking, and better of all it has in-built exterior audio gadget so which you would be able to pay attention to it w/out headphones (and w/out making use of a docking station or something). you may of direction use headphones in case you prefer to hearken to it w/out disrupting every physique. It additionally has an alarm, can carry pictures, has FM radio, ... i could bypass w/no different.

i guess I - pod but they both play mp3. i guess on a ipod you can watch videos unless you are talking bout ipod nano
