You can use a computer and you don't know that?
To threaten someone means to tell someone you are going to cause them harm of some sort (not always physical harm).
For example; if I were to say... "If you post one more stupid question like this I'm going to hunt you down and kick you in the nuts" I'd be threatening you.

to tell somebody that you are going to do something (to them) if they don't or do something.
ie, if you don't stop talking, I'm going to hit you!
Threats don't always have to be so violent though, this was an example.
Some threats are empty, but others will happen.
ie, your bill must be paid in full by the 15th in order to avoid additional fees to your account.
