since brown is a neutral color, it can be paired witn almost any color pant. Blue jeans for a more casual look, tailored trousers for a more dressy look. A colored pant such as light pink, mint green, or sky blue would make the look more girly & cute. As for shoes, anything goes. And don't worry about mixing brown & black either!

you can wear black shoes for that but make sure your belt matches your shoes...as for slacks you can wear darker blue jeans or maybe some khakis. a different shade of brown pants would work also.

dark blue jeans; any shade of blue or green trousers (plaid in blue/green if you ar ereally adventerous with style), and dark brown shoes / belt would look good with chocolate brown; or black pants with black shoes/ belt.

I always mix brown (dark brown that is) with light shades of blue, pink, and green. I have slacks in all of those colors that look fabulous with dark brown. Dont be afraid of color! You can also pair them with lighter shades of brown (caramel) colors and even grey.
