Does it help your topic is narrowly focused, or do you like it as it as borad as possible? Why?

Narrowly focused topic but bringing in external arguments that are related is always the best way to go unless you are working on a creative project where a broader range will give you more creativity and more scope.

Broad as possible. Because discussions can be made and a debate can be started. Debates are exciting.
