My favorite all time BEST way of getting over either a bad relationship, or friendship, was to get busy on another one. My mission was to replace the ex one whatever it was, right away with something fun, lively and most importantly with more of everything than the other one had. If my ex was an electrician, I would look for someone with a better job (like architect, pilot and so on). If the ex had a nice truck, I'd take a shine to the one with the corvette. Now I am not saying marry them, but its a good ego boost and it would get me to stop thinking about the guy with the truck, hard to think of truck boy while riding in corvette man's car, and so on. It especially helped if they had a good sense of humor and could keep me laughing while I got through it. Also, didn't hurt to let out a scream (in private, not in the middle of new guys date) and to cry a little and get it out of me. But I tried not to give in to that too much! I say the best way to get over anybody, is to live well, do better, upgrade, and just in general, take better care of myself and look for someone willing to take better care of me than the last one. The reason I say this, is not cause I am some uppitty kind of girl, but if my ex was such a poor choice and had not worked out, I thought making a change for the better was in order and just worked on making myself a better person to attract a better mate. Being a christian, I also looked for a Godly man that was more on my level and understood my need for loyalty and commitment. Look for someone who is more like you in your feelings, or at least respects you for them. Look to the church singles group to find some new friends too. Good luck!

I feel for you but you have to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You have broken up for a reason and there could be nothing worse than loving a person who doesnt love you back! Its gonna be hard - I wont lie - but YOU WILL get over it! Times like this friends and family are what you need. More to the point - you need someone who will listen to you and let you spill your guts every now and then! A good cry does a world of good - Once you have a good cry, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get on with living cause there are alot of lonely chicks out there and alot of living to do and I am sure you will find the right one in the end.

Your first love is going to be harder than all the rest and you will never forget.
Only time and much, much distraction will allow you to feel some what normal!
The best thing you can do is get around a large group of people and talk!
By the way: Adults cry to, and if the need arises go into your room lock the door and don't come out until your spent!
Good luck!

I don't know if you ever completely get over your first love. I know I haven't. There are distractions, or other boyfriends. But I always seem to drift back to memories and longing for him. Hopefully with time you will find someone who's love supersedes anything you have ever felt before. You will then be able to look back to fond memories and hopefully feel peace.

I just got back in the game. I started dating right away. Why should you stay home and sulk and miss him? He isn't crying in his beer over you. Believe me, I know from experience that this is easier said then done but the faster you move on the faster you forget him. Surround yourself with friends and live life. Don't waste another day or even another minute worrying about someone who isn't giving you a second thought. You deserve better than that. Take care and God Bless.

Chill out for a start ,and if you are a christian pray for having some faith in you`re self !
There seems to be a lot going on you`re life ,and i think if you are having some probelms talk to a friend or talk to family member !!!
Best way i got over a boy ,was to find another one ,keeps you`re mind of things ,just be careful who you chose and look after you`re self ,you will be ok .
These things only make you stronger !
Just remember my little saying" if you don`t love you`re self ,how do exspect others to love you !!!!
Good luck and try to relax may be do a hobby of some sort to take you`re mind of things !!!Best of luck ,be happy with you `re self girl ,it`s never that bad !!!!

Stay as busy as possible, surround yourself with friends... each day little by little it will get easier and easier..there is no substitute for the time it takes to heal.
Since your a Christian I don't think you'd go find a one night stand... but hey... try the gym..better yourself physically and try to go on dates.

Hon, it just takes time. No matter what you do or how busy you are-it is going to be something you think about and something that takes time to get over. Just take it one day at a time and someday it will get easier.
