Don't rely on common symbolism for happiness. What symbols represent happiness to you? The image doesn't have to make sense to anyone else but you. The image that comes to your mind, and not an image from the flash on the wall should be the tattoo you get. It'll mean more to you that way.

There is the sky band symbol of native american...means leading to happiness and then the sun symbols..means happiness. Check out the web link
