I do not mean how to hack etc...

You know when you go onto a website and it gives you the chance to upload a pic etc - that's what i want to do!

Anyone know a code that i can add to my website?
Thanks

You will need a to make a form and then that form through some backend script (PHP, cfm, asp, etc) will allow you to upload whatever it is.

google search php forms (easiest of the three) to upload.

BTW this is NOT HACKING. its a simple upload form , that is found on pretty much every major website INCLUDING forums

You can also create the form to make an email attachment if you just want them to send you a file to your email address (however its ill advised to do this):

There is really nothing simple about that in HTML. What you need to insert is a form, and possibly have some type of script(PHP or Perl) to control the uploading process. The

code will direct itself to the script you provided (the script will act as a program) and send the uploaded file to either a folder on your server, or to an email address you inserted into the script.

I suggest going to http://www.hotscripts.com to find a script that suits your needs. PHP/Perl are used on Linux servers and ASP is used on Windows servers. Whatever you download should have instructions on how to use, samples and support on their website.

Good Luck.

even as replaced into that e book printed? some codes are deprecated. Deprecated codes are previous codes and persons do not use them for information superhighway website layout anymore. possibly you're literally not typing the codes properly or possibly you're literally not utilizing the right editor. you may't form HTML codes in Yahoo! solutions question and answer field. it is textual content depending, and it does not help html codes. you may hit upon a HTML editor to attempt your codes out. you should use Microsoft Notepad or you may verify in for a loose website. A loose information superhighway website lets you try your codes. the different answerer is nice, please use lowercase letters once you're typing your codes.

In your form tag you need to include the element

Now you add the following tag

Now it depends on what cgi you are using as to what you do next to process the file.

HTML isn't a programming language, therefore it will have no such capability.

I'm glad HTML can't get to the stuff on my computer. If it could, I would NEVER go online.
