Ive checked GAME, Amazon and other game shops but none of them have the game on Xbox.. Can someone give me a name of a reliable site which I can buy the game? I also would like to know why it is so hard to find, if there is an explanation.

It's not out in the UK on Xbox yet. It may never come out, as Xbox is rapidly going the way of Gamecube (may she rest in peace...).

if you go to www.xbox.com just to make sure it is available on xbox. i thought mortal kombat was only on sony and dead or alive was the xbox answer for it

It's way better on PS2.
