Did you get to hold your baby that passed (if he/she was already formed)?
I did and it was very difficult. The baby was was very tiny and I just held him/her in my palms for a long time until I was ready to let them go.

Did you pass your baby at home or at the hospital? I forgot to ask.

I passed my (7 week) baby at home so I had the opportunity. my baby was just the size of a cashew nut and not fully formed so it wasn't much of a healing process, my friend lost her son at 33 weeks and she held him for a long time, it helped her a lot.

I had my miscarriage when I was 3 months along so nothing to hold. I think I would have wanted to had there been anything and yes it would be difficult because even now 2 years later and a healthy baby boy I still think of the baby I lost and cry some people seem to move on and never think of it again and that hurts me because it's like they don't care and I still cry. I am so sorry to hear about your baby, God bless you, your baby is in heaven so it is better off than you are.

I'm very sorry that you were not able to sustain the pregnancy; I would think that would be very difficult. If the baby were already formed so as to be recognizable, I think I would want to hold it briefly as well; as long as it was a good thing for you, then I think that is the important issue. Should you choose to become pregnant in the future, I wish you every success and happiness.

No, most hospitals around here throw them out as medical waste if you are under about 26 weeks
