There is no simple "right" answer to your question. Where you are located will determine who is best. Best bet is to ask people in your area how well they like the service from the different providers. Some providers like Cingular will give you a 30 day trial. Lets just say as an example that Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon all have outstanding service in Your area, then I would recomend looking at Cingular or T-Mobile because they work the GSM network giving you far more flexability with changing phones

Varies by location, I suppose. If you live ina big city, they should all work fine. Get farther out, signal strength decreases.
I don't think there is a single company that works perfectly everywhere. If there was, what would be the point of purchasing service through another competitor?
