I was wondering is is 100 precent that I will conceive? I know right after I had intercourse I went to the bathroom and washed off kind of like douching, under facuent in and out cleaning so will that kill the sperm and make it less precent to conceive? I am regular about 28-29 days of leteal 14 days so... my ovulation was started yesterday of Nov 12-18. My last period on Halloween. So? Is it still 50/50? Or less chance after cleaning?

Having intercourse on the ovulation day or week does it increase the chances?

It's not guaranteed that you'll get pregnant any time, even when you're ovulating.

The sperm still has to get there ... it's about a 30% chance. If the man's sperm has mobility problems, a low count, etc, then your chances are even lower!

Washing afterward does nothing to prevent conception. What comes out is just the semen itself, not the sperm. It's the stuff that carries the sperm into your body. One he ejaculates inside you, the sperm are off on their mission. They separate themselves from the semen and swim in your vaginal fluids. So washing won't get rid of them.

Of course it's more likely on the day you ovulate. That's why people who are trying to conceive plan to have sex on that day. That's when your ovaries release an egg, and without an egg you can't get pregnant.

there is never 100 percent chance of conception. Douching is a big no no! Instead of cleaning it out it is more likely to project the sperm up higher inside of you and increasing your odds of pregnancy. You are most likely to get pregnant after day 14 of your cycle. Most women ovulate between 14-21 on a 28 day cycle. Just because it is day 14 doesn't mean you ovulated that day.

It depends on many different circumstances. Instead of worrying why don't you just go to the store and get some kind of birth control and you wont have to go through all of the cleaning.Sometimes douches push the sperm upwards, so I personally wouldn't do that .
