There is a game we used to play at a church gathering spot I went to occasionally, and it's fun for all ages, and doesn't take much advanced planning. . It's called " I Never." It's better if you have several people to play it, and you will need folding chairs, and a pretty big area (can be played outside.) You put the chairs in a circle, with one less chair than the number of people, so there will be someone left standing in the middle of the circle with nowhere to sit. That person in the middle names something they've never done, such as "I've never been snow skiing." Everyone sitting around the circle who has done that thing before, jumps up and has to cross to the other side of the circle and quickly take another seat before they are all taken. The person in the center needs to rush to a chair also. When everyone is seated, there will be a person left without a chair, and that person has to be in the center, and come up with something they've never done. Put down some ground rules to begin with saying nothing dirty, and if they can't follow that rule, tell them they can't play. It's a fun game, can get a little rawdy, and the kids will all learn something about each other. Metal folding chairs are probably best, and you might have to referee a tad to keep the boys from getting too rough, but I always had a lot of fun playing this game. Still like it, actually! Good luck!
