i believe it will benefit both parties involved so prenup should be a standard procedure prior to getting married.

I think for regular people, this just sets you up to the idea that the marriage isn't going to work. My mother taught me to never use the word 'divorce', because once you do, you've opened yourself up to the possibility, and you already started to give up a little on the relationship.

However, celebs are probably a different story. I wish they weren't. But if I was a celeb I'd probably get a divorce simply because I can't think of 10 celebs that have never been divorced. Plus, look at poor Paul McCartney....

When I married my husband he and I didn't have anything, so we really saw no use for one. If we would have already aquired valuable assets before meeting and deciding to get married, however, i wouldn't have minded signing one. The way I see it is, yes- i love and plan to stay married to my husband until the end of time, BUT- I also don't expect my house to burn down, either- and if I can pay homeowner's insurance based on a what-if, then there's no reason I can't protect my other assets based on the same thing.

First thing that comes to my mind when i hear "Prenup" is....YOU DON'T TRUST THAT PERSON. I strongly disagree with prenups; get to know the person you are going to marry. Marriage is about trust not signing papers to say what is whose. Once you are married it is YOURS not MINE!!!

By all means DO-IT, if things don't work out there is no reason she should get 50-75% of your worth.

I think if its necessary, then there shouldnt be a problem. After all, if the marriage isnt about money, why not?

i think if one is actually needed, then the marriage is automatically set to fail. if you cannot trust your partner...go get a new one.
