I don't know about Arsenal being best. As there are a few London teams that seam to be on par with Arsenal.

Hmmm, most probably yes. With the result of the match. 3 - 0. Maybe got to see whether if Arsenal will win Liverpool at Liverpool's home.

If the 3-0 win wasn't enough of an indication then i don't know what is. Liverpool rely heavily on one man St Stevie G, were as Arsenal have many players who can change the game, Henry, Fabregas, Rosicky. If Stevie G doesn't play then Liverpool don't play, fact. Expect St Stevie to jump ship in the summer and become the player he was two seasons ago

At the moment, the answer is yes.
But if you take int account the previous achievements of the two clubs, then no.
Liverpool are the most succesful English club side in terms of domestic honours. Until Arsenal can dominate European club competiton in the same way that Liverpool did during the mid 70's to mid 80's, they will fall short of Liverpool overall.
But at the moment, they have the upper hand over Liverpool.

oh yeah....3-0......
But its was early for us to make a pundit because arsenal is playing in their home ground....and Liverpool are played 3 another successive clubs in EPL ( Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal ) as a visitor. Maybe Liverpool can fight back, coz they looked tough in home but difficult to win in away game. When you looked in the past, Liverpool's history are successive than Arsenal...

no doubt. 3-0, 3rd place in the premiership. I think that ays enough. Also Arsenal was way more active in signings this season. Two big ones with Tomas Rosicky and William Gallas, both of which have produced well for the Gunners.

They played them off the park yesterday and the score could have been more. Liverpool are a bigger threat to Chelsea and it doesn't make sense. I like Benitez but some of his team selections and tactics are questionnable. Gerard was almost posted absent yesterday and Zenden in central midfield beats me. He should play Alonso and Gerrard in central midfield and build it up from there but take nothing away from Arsenal. When they are in the mood and things are coming off they are unstoppable.

arsenal is a less successful football club than liverpool. however, if we compare their success over the past twenty years then probably arsenal nick it despite liverpool's champions league win ( something arsenal failed to do last season ).
however it is very artificial to limit the timeframe to just the last twenty years. i mean, by that method manchester united are far and away the best english club. as much as i like that outcome being a red myself i have to give liverpool the best english club title based on their success over the history of football.
however manchester united are still undisputedly the most successful club ( in the world ) in financial terms.
