The only way i can think off is
Convert the pounds into kilograms
Find out the density of the object
Use volume = mass/density
As you are asking to convert a mass (pounds) into a volume which are 2 different things

Since pounds is (loosely) related to mass, you'd need to know something about the density of the material before you can convert pounds into a volume unit.

It depends on the density of the object in question, and also on the strength of the gravity field. Pounds are a measure of force, not mass as kilograms are; and neither is a measure of volume.

There is no conversion of pounds to volume.
Pound is mass (or weight and there is a difference) and represents amount of matter.
Volume is the space such mass of matter occupies.
There is a ration between mass and volume and it is called density.
D=m/v
Does that help?

Pounds is a weight measure, so you need the density (e.g. pounds per cubic foot or pounds per gallon).
A pound of bricks may weigh the same as a pound of feathers, but it sure as heck doesn't occupy the same volume...

first you have to know how many pounds of the material you are using fit in a unit of volume (eg. liter).

A pound is a unit of force.
A gram is a unit of mass.
A gallon is a unit of volume, as is a liter.

Double wrong question.
As strange as
how to convert from miles to temperature.
Pounds is a mass unit
Volume is a number of liters or gallons
