Basically I'm using my friends ebay account to sell a bunch of phones. His paypal is set up to go to his bank account. It is alot of money so i want to use his ebay but put it in my paypal account. So what i'm asking is can a seller use two different paypal accounts??

Yes. When a seller puts an item on ebay, he types in his paypal user name. Tell your friend to type in your paypal user name when you get an account. Go to paypal.com and sign up. A seller can tell the buyer which paypal user name to send the money to. Your email address will be your paypal user name. Why not register on ebay and have your own ebay account?

why dont you just create your own ebay account?
