For years now, limp writsed Liberal lefties have done all they can to appease the influx of ethnic cultures. They put forward things that are a slap in the face for the indiginous white christian population. In Birmingham they changed the words Christmas to "Winterval" to appease the Muslim population...
When will these cretins realise this causes Racism and does no good for race relations at all.

Even on yahoo and the news today Muslim and Christians are united in telling the Government and City officials to "Leave Christmas alone"

Do you think it will sink in and we can return to the normal Christmas we love or do you think the City officials, backed by retarded "do gooders" will pay no attention to what people want and decide they know what we all want and prefer?

Also, although a lot of people dislike it, do you think with all this global warming bilge' that is pumped at us as by those who use it to tax us in it's name, will give us a lovely "White Christmas" ??

By the way, from my experience and discussing it with Black and Asian friends I have they are not offended by Christmas at all and they enjoy it as a holiday as much as anyone else. It is the Government and City Officials who are hell bent on making it an issue... an issue that doesn't exist.

We should all be able to enjoy Christmas, and those few of whatever culture, including white, who do not enjoy it have the right not to celebrate it but should not stop everyone else from having a good time...

Best Christmas Wishes to each and every one of you xxx

Brian... My angle is.. I love Christmas, I have kids who love it and you make it what you want with the basic thought to love one another and spread peace to all. Christmas cheer and friendship. I don't believe in God although my parents had me Christened. I enjoy the festivities and general happy feel of it.
What I hate is people deciding it is "offensive" for other people and trying to change it for a tiny minority that has a problem with it. Why do people want to see it destroyed in the name of another faith which, in the main, never had a problem with it in the first place... It's bordering on stirring up racism.....

You are absolutely right, there can be no other opinion this side of the lunatic asylum. It is the enemy within that is destroying this country, and, as you point out, it will incite racial tensions, even many of the immigrant groups realise that. Left wingers don't believe in religion or the nation state. In fact, left wing ideaology is their religion. So, expect increased attacks on religion from the State. I also think that global warming is nonsense, but the government will find it to be a nice little earner and it will afford a useful distraction from the Iraq war and a weakening economy together with the problems caused by immigration.

I think the following groups are the main causes of our problems. The government, left leaning teachers/lecturers, the EU with its ridiculous Human Rights Act, the TV media, the PC brigade, feminists and a whole host of other quangos including pressure/focus groups.

As an Atheist I dont celebrate it but neither am I offended by it.
We are as you say a Christian Country! Call it whatever they like it is still going to be celebrated as Christmas and people will still say Happy Christmas. I bet the council in Birmingham will sit down to a few Winterval meals. What a stupid name anyway!! I suggest the people of Birmingham send lots of cheap nasty Merry Christmas Cards to said officials. Maybe then they'll get the message. If people wish me Merry Christmas I say 'thanks and wish them a Happy New Year.
Disagree with the Global Warming Issue. It really is getting warmer but you may be too young to have noticed! You only have to look at the increase in Bad weather conditions around the world. If we dont do anything will you be able to tell your Grandchildren why? Where I live will disappear in 20 years because of rising sea levels and Where will we go? Inland to safe places like Birmingham. Hope you have room for us!

Winterval? I never knew that, was it in the Birmingham Post.

I don't think anyone asks Muslims. Not the clerics (you give an inch with those guys and they'll take a mile) I mean the guy on the street.

Last year our manager decided not to have Christmas
decoration as he though it would offend, my Muslim colleague. Any how she asked why there were no decorations so I told her and she just laughed and said she didn't have a problem with it and if our boss had just asked she'd tell him as much. We all stead late that day and decorated the office.

Politicians should stay the hell away from Christmas, why are they picking on our holidays when other things like hanakuh etc are left well alone. Surely if Christmas is offensive then so are the things that other religions celebrate.
I believe we should all be free to celebrate what we want to celebrate Christmas is a tradition that has been around for years and yet i can't helpo thinking it won't be long until its banned altogether

i think it breeds resentment towards the faiths that politicians are trying not to offend, and the ppl of differing faiths i've spoken to are actually more offended by the assumption that they're offended in the first place. christmas is largely commercial now anyway with very little emphasis on the fact we're actually celebrating the birth of jesus. the government have a laissez faire approach to so many things and should add christmas to the list of things to leave well alone surely there are bigger issues than this for them to meddle in. it really doesnt do any good.

I certainly agree that Christmas should remain as Christmas, That's America. I do think politicians should intervene when a government clearly sides with a religion. But the phrase "Merry Christmas" is by no means that.

But you have to cut some slack for "bosses" who err on the side of caution. You never know what to expect, and people are sue-crazy these days.

If you want tho change your daily life then this is your guide https://tr.im/REyCb , Manifestation Miracle.
With Manifestacion Miracle you may understand what the law states of attraction. The Manifestation Miracle does an excellent job of teaching you only how clearly you'll need to want something to be able to do what' needed in order to get it. Consider need the same way you'd consider a candle. If the candle is burning solid then you'll force previous limitations to be able to get everything you want. If the candle is not using at all, then you definitely won't. Desire is really a using fireplace. Not only have you got to possess it, but you also have to help keep organizing timber about it to keep it burning.
That guide is really as straightforward because it gets and with it you'll be able to begin believing in what' probable really fast.

I say leave Christmas alone. Where is it written that everyone in the US has to celebrate Christmas? No where! Celebrate your reigious hollidays as you like right? Christmas, Kwanza or any other winter festival/celebration for your religious beliefs. I think Elton John (article on cnn) has a good idea about banning relion, not only because of the gay bashing though, should be because of stupid "don't wnat to step on toes" ideas like the one you mentioned above. I thnk they will step on MANY toes if they do that.

I say that it is Christmas.

Not Santamas

Not Mosesmas

Not Muhammadmas

Not Quanzamas

Not Holidaymas

Just plain Christmas.... if you are offended by that because you think the name, Christ, in the word "Christmas" is politically incorrect, then you can go jump in a frozen lake.

We have a right to call it Christmas, it should be called Christmas, if it offends you, then tough.

Merry Christmas

this nonsense gets on my nerves so much!!! i'm not christian but i love the 'true' sentiments of xmas (ie. not the commercialised nonsense) - sharing time with family and friends, holiday, people smiling at each other, random folk saying wishing each other merry christmas, laidback attitude at work - its all so good. as u say non-christians respect xmas - not least 'cos we get all the good stuff without having to slave over xmas dinner (altho' i occasionaly do that - but on xmas eve so in case i need something the shop is still open!!); we dont have to buy over-priced for all and sundry and then see the same gifts slashed to less than half price a week later, we dont have to fight over same gifts and queue for hours in over-heated shops... christmas is fab!!!

as for the answer that other faith celebrations such as ramadan have to be respected.. this is exaclty the kind of resentment that this political correctness breeds (not saying that the answerer feels resentment, but certianly sees it as unfair and not even-handed - rightly so).

as so many have already said, nonchristians be they muslim, hindu, sikh, buddhist etc etc. at the very least have nothing against it, or like me - love all the good bits and have none of the hassle!!

merry christmas all!
xx
