He appears adequate on the surface but beneath that surly exterior lurks a person who has taken Britain to the economic brink. We will not know the extent of his prolific spending until the books are examined and the facts revealed after the next election when Labour will surely be booted out. Economists insist there is a massive black hole in his accounting, the extent and depth of which will result in serious economic consequences for Britain.

He reminds me of John Barnes. Pretty good with a team around him and comes up with the odd brilliant goal. Though for most of the time he sits on the benches collecting splinters for bonfire night. Hes conveniently injured when the heat is on and is seldom seen when the team are taking all the flak from the media.
Just like J.B's time on taking the top job, the team (Celtic) almost disintegrated over time. Once all the trouble had cleared up, his name not associated with the problems he caused, he turns up on some tacky channel, with duff commentators, spouting off his football credentials.
Trouble is know one believes him and are bemused by his awful accent.

Undoubtedly the greatest chancellor of the exchequer in british history. Since he started, Britain has emerged as one of the strongest economies in Europe.
He's overseen an unprecedented decade of british growth and stability. Unemployment and inflation are both historically low. He's spent carefully - Britain has a less debt per person than France or Germany or the US or Japan.
He's also combined this with greener issues and has supported climate change initiatives and 3rd world debt relief.
