Well I would hope so for you Chicago people. I don't know that Lou will get you to the world series, but at least he will be entertaining and demand the best out of your Cubbies.

Well, Satan, assuming the kid was not born blind, yes they will. Given the Red and White Sox broke skeins, I'd say sometime in the next 50 odd years the Cubs will fluke thru.

Why not ask when will Rangers' fans see a WS title. They have to be suffering for not even having a slice of WS history to cling to at all.

Of course, but they will probably be too young to see the Cubs' first World Series of the century; that happens in 2007!

It all depends on how long their lifetime is. If we suppose an average lifetime which is somewhere around 70+ I believe. Than yes what are the odds that a team will have gone 100+ years wothout winning a championship.

Heck no. The 2 teams with the longest WS title drought in MLB is Cubs and Indians. The Indians will make it first b/c we have young players to work with. GO TRIBE!!!!

Absolutely. All sports are on cycles of a sport. Bad teams become good teams, good teams become great teams, great teams become mediocre teams and so on and so forth. It's not necessarily in that order, but eventually the Cubbies are going to win it all.
