i have just receive 56 reg renult scenic 1.6 as a courtesy car , i want open the bonnet but how to?

Bonnet meansing the hood, there shoud be a hod release handle with a depiction off a car with open hood on the handle. Pull the release lever. Then from the front of the car find the second or safety release handle. Push or pull this handle as required as you lift up on the hood.
