Depending on how I feel.
Funny thing these are like alcohol. Not only can they cheer me up but at certain times they can depress the hell out of me. Strange.

When I am sad I listen to something slow and depressing, because I am in that mood.
When I am in deep thought of someone I like I listen to some kind of love song, something slow and romantic and daydream of them ; )

I listen to something upbeat, like dance music... it's proven to increase your pulse, thereby increasing bloodflow to the brain, and making endorphins flow through the body faster.

"Bring on the Rain" by JoDee Messina - It's sad, but uplifting at the same time. Makes me think and then keep on keepin' on. My favorite song for me and my husband is "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw - sweet and how I want my husband to think of me.
